We all experience difficulties at certain times in our lives, whether it’s facing up to loss, bereavement, life changes and challenges or a relationship breakdown. Or you realise you’re just not feeling ‘yourself’ and could be experiencing low mood, anxiety or depression. Perhaps life just isn’t shaping up in the way you’d planned. Counselling could be all you need to work through these difficult feelings and get you back on the right track.
Therapy can help you to work out what might be causing you to feel this way, to make sense of past and present challenges and to bring into focus a clearer sense of yourself and how you relate to the world around you. The aim is to have more understanding of yourself and
therefore to feel stronger and more able to cope.
I can work with difficulties including issues relating to :

• life stage challenges
• relationship difficulties
• family issues
• low self-esteem
During our first meeting we can look at what you feel your needs are and the areas in which you want to look at and work through. We can then discuss what’s best for you in terms of length of therapy, be it an agreed number of sessions between, or longer-term open-ended therapy. We’ll set a regular day and time to meet each week, and also a plan for regularly reviewing our work together.
My counselling rooms are in High Barnet, Hertfordshire, about a seven minute walk from High Barnet Northern Line tube, if you're driving, there's parking available.
