My approach is warm, relational and non-judgemental, and I aim to help you think differently about yourself and your relationships. Through talking each week, we can consider how events in your past may be affecting your life at the moment. Together we can explore what’s happening for you right now, and look at what might be influencing your choices today. This may mean thinking about past relationships and how you’ve coped with difficult things in your life. Understanding yourself better can help you to think differently and to make better choices.
Working together within the safety of the therapeutic relationship and professional framework, a growing self-awareness can bring an understanding which can help grow an inner confidence, resilience and change.
As a BACP registered counsellor, I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework and work within their guidelines to keep you safe and well supported.
